The mission was to create a homeware product to bring tiny treasures into your home. I often find myself bringing home tiny plant clippings with nowhere pretty to keep them, this is how this project was realised. I dreamed to create tiny vases that can house even the smallest of plant friends.

The concept

The shapes of these vases were inspired by Italy, and a few things I love. No1: the Italian fiasco - a traditional Chianti wine bottle, which is covered with a close-fitting straw basket. No2: a small goldsmith that lived around the corner from me - I spent a lot of time exploring and collecting small trinkets from his shop.
